Real Karate is a community-run map and calendar for karate as a martial art — full-contact, practical and budō karate— and the wider hard-sparring family. It’s built and maintained by the community: anyone can browse for free, and a free account lets you add and manage clubs and events.

What belongs here

• Karate — Kyokushin and its organisations (incl. Kenbukai Kyokushin, Kyokushin Budo Kai), Shinkyokushin, Ashihara, Enshin, Seidokaikan, full-contact Goju-ryu, Kudo/Daido Juku, Shorin-Ryu, and practical / budō karate generally.
• Friends & adjacents — Muay Thai, MMA, BJJ, Judo, Krav Maga and hybrid self-defence are welcome, listed under their own heading.

The focus of this directory is not on points competition or kata/forms performance competition — it’s for full-contact in all variations, self-defence and applied martial arts. But everyone is welcome — the tent is broad and the door is open.

How listings are checked

New submissions are screened automatically for spam, abuse and unsafe links, and most go live within seconds. Anything unclear is held briefly for human review. You can report any listing, and you can edit or remove your own at any time.

Languages

The interface is available in several languages, and listing descriptions are translated automatically for visitors — write in whatever language you like.
